This rare and exquisite tea which is also known as the “Precious Dew”, was once only drunk by Emperors! The fine, regular leaf has a deep green colour and a strong flavour with a hint of sweetness. This is a particularly invigorating tea as it has a higher than average caffeine content.
Taste: A wonderful smooth texture with delicate sweetness intertwined with gentle grassy notes
Aroma: A delightful aroma of newly sprouting grass with sweet notes of freshly steamed spinach
Infusion: A rich shimmering green infusion
Originates from Fukuoka
Loose leaf tea:
We would recommend putting one teaspoon of tea per cup into an infuser or filter and then add freshly boiled water. For a pot of tea, always add one teaspoon of tea for the pot and one teaspoon for each person. The length of brewing time can vary according to an individual’s taste but we would recommend the following:
Brewing Temperature: 80°C
Brewing Time: 2-3 minutes
