An allergic reaction is the result of an over-reaction of the immune system. The body releases histamine leading to inflammatory responses such as nasal obstruction, sneezing, itchiness in the eyes and throat, asthma and eczema. Certain teas and herbs are believed to have a number of naturally occurring anti-allergy properties.
