PMS is a group of symptoms linked to the menstrual cycle. Some of the common symptoms are tender breasts, cramping, bloating, fatigue, irritability and mood changes. Research carried out at the Institute of Traditional Medicine in 2001 discovered that consuming theanine (found in green and white tea) helped alleviate PMS symptoms.
