Hair and Nails
Common everyday factors such as poor diets with low essential nutrients, lack of exercise and daily stress weakens your body and as a consequence, the health of your hair and nails can suffer. Further damage is can be done by using hair colours and nail polish products. Tea contains strong levels of antioxidants, called polyphenols, which contribute to healthy skin, hair and nails. Green tea extracts are widely used in many cosmetic products, and herbal formulas containing essential mineral and vitamins, have been used over centuries as hair and nail tonics. Often overlooked, silica is the foundation of shiny hair, strong nails, bones and supple skin. Silica can be found in certain foods and herbs such as oats and horsetail (which binds well with silica).
We have created a list of teas according to their ingredients as they are known to strengthen and support healthy hair and nails.
