We are very excited about this special tea produced in the southeast of the Chinese mountains at an altitude of about 1,000m. After plucking, it is fermented for only a very short time in order to save the tea’s “green soul”. It is plucked with “two leaves and a bud” and this is where the name of the tea comes from as the buds are clearly visible. The infusion is light green and the taste is spicy with a mild, slightly fruity note.
