In China the cast iron symbolises the everlasting strength and unity of the world. The cast iron is treated to remove impurities and then a coating of enamel is applied to prevent the formation of rust. The tea pots come with a stainless steel mesh infuser and when removed, the pots can also be used as a kettle (to boil water). They hold 800ml of water.
