Oolong is traditionally from China and Taiwan and is semi fermented and so could be described as being halfway between a black and green tea. All quality Oolongs teas develop a delicate, fruity or floral aroma and the colouring of the leaves can range from dark brown oolongs to lighter coloured greenish oolongs. Since the leaves are semi fermented, they contain less caffeine than black teas.
